The 1953 Ford model is an American upper-middle class passenger car, which was first presented to the public in December 1952. Its serial production began in the same year and continued until 1954. About 1.25 million copies of this car were produced in its course.

The 1953 Ford models were mostly based on those produced a year earlier. The changes mainly concerned the design, but here too the changes were cosmetic, because a chrome radiator grille was added, the interior of the passenger compartment and the place of parking lamps were changed, and the shape of the rear lamps was changed. No changes were made in the field of the power unit, it was still a 6-cylinder engine with 101 HP or an 8-cylinder engine with 110 HP. The three main models, the Customline, Mainiline and Crestline, also continued to be offered in body types such as sedan, coupe, combi, convertible and hardtop.
