A-Model 07295 AERO 45 Light Multifunctional Aircraft

The Aero Ae-45 was a Czechoslovak service, sanitary and tourist aircraft from the post-war period in the low wing configuration. The drive was provided by two Walter Minor III engines with a maximum power of 107 HP each. The prototype flight took place in 1947. And serial production continued in 1949-1959. In total, only about 200 examples of this aircraft were built.

The Aero Ae-45 was developed by a team of designers consisting of four engineers: M. Baitler, J. Bouzek, O Nemec and F. Vlka. They relied on the design of the new machine on an aircraft produced in Czechoslovakia during the German occupation with the designation Siebel 204. The new aircraft took over from its ancestor the general shape and many design solutions. However, the front of the fuselage, rear tail and power units were changed. The Ae-45 turned out to be a great success and a machine prone to modernization. Based on the same aircraft, the Aero Ae-45 S or Super Aero version with much richer avionics and navigation equipment, and the Ae-145, which was in fact a completely new aircraft, were developed.
