DT-45 is a Soviet, self-propelled armored draisine from World War II. The draisine was developed in 1933, but it did not enter mass production, remaining at the prototype stage. The armament consisted of a 45mm cannon in a rotating turret and three 7.62mm DT machineguns. The crew was seven people. The DT-45 draisine was developed as an evolution of the D-37 draisine. The new rail vehicle received the main armament placed in the turret of the T-26 tank. It also had a 71KT radio with a railing antenna. It was assumed that the DT-45 would primarily perform independent patrol and reconnaissance tasks as part of armored trains. Attempts were also made to improve the mobility of the draisine. The first trials showed that the new trolley was a successful design, but it was never put into mass production. At the beginning of World War II, the created prototypes were used for training tasks.
