The Ford Crown Victoria is an American upper-middle class passenger car that was first presented to the public in 1992. Its serial production was carried out in the years 1992-2011 and - interestingly - was concentrated in Ford plants in Canada, in the province of Ontario.
The Crown Victoria model was designed and put into production to replace the LTD model in the Ford offer. However, to keep costs down, many components have been moved from the LTD model to the Crown Victoria. However, the range of available power units was expanded, as well as the body style and design were completely changed, making the new car similar to the Ford Taurus. Two generations of Crown Vitoria were produced in the course of serial production - the first was produced in 1992-1998, the second from 1998 to 2011. The differences in both generations are mainly related to the design, suspension or gearbox. The Ford Crown Victoria is widely used by taxi drivers in New York and the US state police to this day.
