The Nieuport-Delage NiD 62 is a French single-engine fighter in the 1.5-wing configuration, flown in 1931. It was created as the basic Armee de l'air fighter and served this role only for a few years, until it was replaced by modern monoplane planes in the late 1930s. Before the outbreak of World War II, all machines of this type were withdrawn from fighter squadrons and were intended for training purposes . Some of the machines were used as air targets, and after the end of the French campaign, the remaining planes were intercepted by the Luftwaffe and designated for scrapping. Not a single plane of this type survived.
