The Hanriot HD-2 was a French fixed-float biplane seaplane from World War I and the interwar period. The flight of the prototype took place in 1917, and shortly after that, small series production began. The drive - in the HD-2 version - was provided by a single Clerget 9B engine with 130 HP. The plane was armed with two 7.7 mm Vickers machine guns. The HD-2 was built as a development of the Hanriot HD-1 fighter aircraft. Compared to its predecessor, the new machine had a larger wing area and a completely new landing gear adapted to landing and taking off from water. Generally, however, both planes were very similar in construction. It was assumed that the Hanriot HD-2 would protect its own flying boats, as well as their bases against enemy aviation attacks, but in the course of operation, the first field of operation for machines of this type was focused on. Hanriot HD-2 aircraft were used only by the French and US air forces.

The models are digitally printed - some adhesives can dissolve the ink!

Paint in digital printing can be dissolved by certain types of adhesives like butaprene and similar on the same solvents. Before bonding, it is advisable to try the adhesive used on a barely visible part of the model.
