Linke-Hofmann Bt is a narrow-gauge steam locomotive, which was manufactured in 1912 at the Linke-Hofmann plant in Wrocław in 1912 for the "Wujek" hard coal mine. The length of the locomotive was 3.7 meters, with a width of 1.8 meters and a service weight of 9.8 tons. The locomotive had wheels with a diameter of 620 mm and was adapted to driving on a track with a gauge of 624 mm. Linke-Hofmann Bt is a very interesting example of a fireless steam engine that appeared on a large scale at the end of the 19th century in order to provide a safe means of transport on railway sidings of large factories and industrial lines, operating with widely understood flammable agents. Colloquially, such locomotives are called "parasites", because they did not have a classic boiler, but were instead equipped with a pressure steam trap. As a result, they offered a higher level of security at the expense of limited autonomy.
