DISCONTINUED AZ-Model 7373 Morane Saulnier H

The Morane-Saulnier H was a French sports and military aircraft in the dorsal wing configuration of the early 20th century and World War I. The prototype flight took place in 1913. The drive was provided by a single Le Rhone 9C engine with 80 HP. The length of the aircraft was 5.84 meters, and the wingspan was 9.12 meters.

The Morane-Saulnier H was developed and put into production as an improved version of the aircraft of the same manufacturer, called G. Compared to its predecessor, the new aircraft had a different wingspan, it was also a single-seater rather than a two-seater. The machine turned out to be very successful and was successful in aviation competitions organized before the outbreak of World War I. Certain examples of Morane-Saulnier H also found their way into the French and British armies in which she fought in the first months of the Great War. In 1913, a copy of this aircraft was put into production in Germany under the designation Fokker M.5. In 1915, with the addition of a machine gun with a synchroniser, the plane became the first version of the Fokker Eindecker.
