The Niechorze lighthouse is a Polish lighthouse in the village of Niechorze, in the Gryfice poviat, in the province of West Pomeranian Voivodeship. The decision to build a lighthouse in Niechorze was made in 1860, shortly after construction work began, which was completed in 1866 - in the same year the building was put into use. The building was erected on a high, cliff shore, and facing brick was used for its construction. In the lower part, the lantern takes the shape of a quadrilateral, and then turns into a quadrilateral. The Niechorze lighthouse survived both world wars, and the last one was severely damaged. However, it was successfully renovated and returned to service in 1948. In 1999, the lighthouse underwent a major renovation. At the beginning of the 21st century, the building was also renovated, but the scope of works was much smaller. At present, the height of the lighthouse tower is 45 meters, and the range of its light is 20 nautical miles (NM), or about 39 kilometers. The facility is administered by the Maritime Office in Szczecin.
