The Bredford Dolphin is - now - an offshore drilling rig that was built in 1976. The total length of the platform is 108 meters and 67 meters wide. The deck load capacity is 4,000 tons, and the facility's tonnage is approximately 13,800 GRT. The Bredford Dolphin was built as a housing and construction platform and spent the first five years of its service in the North Sea in this role. However, in 1981 it was rebuilt into an oil rig. Shortly thereafter, the platform changed its name to Bow Drill I. By the way, it can be added that the names of the platform were changed until 2000, when the original name was reverted to Bredford Dolphin. After 2000, the platform was used in the North Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. At the beginning of the 21st century, the platform was put in the shipyard in Gdañsk for modernization, which lasted three years. Currently, the platform is operated by a Singapore-based shipowner.
