The Lockheed P-3 Orion is an American four-engine sea reconnaissance and patrol aircraft with ZOP capabilities with a classic tail. The prototype flight took place on August 19, 1958. The aircraft remains in production to this day. The new machine had many common elements with the Lockheed L-188 Electra machine. Four Allison T56-A-14 turboprop engines with a power of 4910KM each were used as the drive. Airplanes of this type are characterized by long flight endurance, good cruising speed and a very spacious fuselage. They are also able to carry a wide range of naval weapons, including Mk.46 and Mk.50 torpedoes, AGM-84 Harpoon anti-ship missiles, AGM-84E SLAM, AGM-84H / K SLAM-ER, AGM-65 Maverick missiles and other equipment, e.g. mines. Technical data: length: 35.61m, wingspan: 30.37m, height: 10.27m, maximum speed: 761km / h, operating range: 3835km, practical ceiling: 8625m.
