Trumpeter 02879 PLA JL-9

The Guizhou JL-9 (another designation FTC-2000) is a modern training and training aircraft and a light fighter of Chinese production, with a metal structure in the dorsal wing configuration. The JL-9 was initially created as a private initiative of the Chinese aviation company GAEIC, as possibly cheap to produce and simple combat training aircraft with parameters corresponding to the corresponding western 4th generation machines. The machine quickly met the interest of the Chinese Air Force and became a competitor to the Hongdu JL-10 as a new training aircraft for advanced training of Chinese fighter pilots. Finally, she started service in 2014 or 2015. So far, two versions of this aircraft have appeared: JL-9 (basic production version), JL-9G (version intended for training pilots of on-board fighters).
