Ardpol 72-013 RWD-10

The RWD-10 was a Polish training and aerobatic aircraft in the high-wing, mixed construction, with a fixed landing gear, from the interwar period. The drive was provided by a single PZInż Junior engine with a maximum power of 120 HP. The flight of the prototype took place in June 1933, and serial production continued in the years 1937-1938. About 20 copies of this aircraft were built.

The RWD-10 was developed by Jerzy Drzewiecki, and its short production was carried out at the Experimental Aviation Workshops (DWL) in Warsaw. The new aircraft was developed primarily as a training machine for military pilots, with piloting and flight characteristics as close as possible to the PZL P.7 fighter. After a relatively long period of research and development of the entire structure, the Polish Army did not express any interest in acquiring a new aircraft, which led to the introduction of the RWD-10 on the civilian market in 1936-1937. The use of RWD-10 aircraft in the September campaign in 1939 was very limited.
