The Sokół (another name: Charlotte) was originally a German and later a Polish tugboat from the interwar period and both world wars. The unit entered service in 1909. The displacement of the ship at the time of launching was 22 tons, length - 18.2 m, and 3.65 meters width. The maximum speed was up to 8 knots. The unit had no on-board armament. The falcon, still under the name Charlotte, was launched at the Schichau shipyard in Elbl±g and was assigned to carry out tasks in Gdańsk (then Danzig). In 1920, it was taken over by the Polish Navy and adopted its final name, which is the Sokół. From 1922, he served in the port of Gdynia, and in 1936 he was transferred to Hel. After the end of the September campaign, its crew sank the tug boat, but in 1946 the unit was lifted from the bottom and returned to service in the Polish Navy. It remained there until 1957.
