The PARM-2 was a Soviet mobile workshop vehicle from the interwar period and World War II. The drive was provided by a single 73 HP engine, which allowed the vehicle to accelerate to 50 km / h. The maximum driving range of the car was 250 kilometers, and its weight - when fully loaded - was 7,730 kilograms. In total, about 200 vehicles of this type were built. PARM-2 was developed on the basis of the ZIS-6 truck in order to shorten research and development and reduce production costs, and its first copies appeared in 1937. The car was dedicated to very similar tasks to the PARM-1 vehicle, i.e. it was to provide technical support to its own aircraft of various types operating from field airports. It was also dedicated to carrying out small and medium repairs in field conditions. However, unlike the car, the PARM-1 had richer technical equipment, especially the so-called PTP airbags, which allowed to lift planes that had an emergency landing without the landing gear drawn out of the ground very quickly. Interestingly, they were so effective that they could also carry out their tasks with machines of the size of Po-2 or I³-4. PARM-2 vehicles were most often assigned to bomb or torpedo aviation units.
