Radomka was a Polish fishing trawler (sometimes referred to as a supertrawler) from the post-war period. Polish research and development vessel. The length of the ship was about 59.2 meters and a width of about 9 meters. The crew most often consisted of 28 people. Radomka was one of the Polish B-10 fishing trawlers. They were built by the Gdañsk Shipyard in 1951-1957. Trawlers of this type, along with the B-14 class units, were built to replace, in Polish fisheries, ships dating back to World War II, as well as often old trawlers provided as part of UNRRA assistance. B-10 type units had a closed wheelhouse, provided relatively comfortable working conditions for the crew at that time, good social facilities, and above all - extensive (compared to predecessors) communication devices. B-10 vessels fished primarily in the North Sea, but also in the North-West Atlantic and the Celtic Shelf. These units were used very rarely in the Baltic Sea.
