Berbice is an American regional schooner, also very often classified as the so-called Baltimore clipper. The unit was launched in 1780 and in 1782 or 1783 it became part of the Royal Navy. The ship was armed with 8 4-pound cannons and 8 falconets weighing less than 1 pound. The sailing ship was 22.65 meters long and 6.2 meters wide. The crew consisted of 40-42 people. The presented unit was a typical representative of the so-called Baltimore clippers, usually two-masted sailing ships built especially in Baltimore (hence the name), and which were characterized by high speed and good seagoing performance. Baltimore pole vines, including, of course, the Berbeci, were also characterized by a carefully designed hull, at least for the 18th century, which generated relatively low hydrodynamic drag and allowed for high speeds. The presented vessel served in the Royal Navy almost throughout its career and was lost only around 1795 near San Domingo.

HMS Endeavor was a British barge, built as coal, from the 19th century. The vessel was launched in 1764. The ship was built at the Fisburn shipyard in the city of Whitby, Great Britain. The vessel was 29.7 m long and 8.9 m wide. Its displacement was about 370 tons. It was armed with 6 4-pounder guns and 8 railing cannons.

HMS Endeavor entered service under the name "Earl of Pembroke", but four years later it entered the Royal Navy, also changing its name. The reason for the acquisition of the unit was a research expedition organized with the participation of the Royal Society, aimed at observing the passage of Venus against the background of the Sun and examining the waters south of Indonesia. The unit, under the command of James Cook, left Great Britain in 1768, and returned there in 1771. The three-year voyage brought complete confirmation of the existence of New Zealand and Australia, as well as the initial exploration of these areas by James Cook and his crew. Shortly after returning to her homeland, the ship was converted into an army transport and remained in service in this role until 1775, when it was sold. However, the outbreak of the American Revolutionary War led to his return to the Royal Navy, where he served as a prison ship based in Newport, Rhode Island. In the course of the aforementioned war, the unit was sunk in order to block the entrance to the port in August 1778.

HMS Wolf was a British rowing and sailing support ship from the mid-18th century. The launch of the vessel took place at the Chatcham shipyard in 1754. At the time of launching, the total length of the ship was approx. 23 m and a width of approx. 8.6 m. The armaments consisted of 10 3-pound guns and 10 0.5-pound falconets. The HMS Wolf was designed and built as an auxiliary unit capable of navigating both oars and sails. It is worth noting that for a vessel of this type it received a relatively rich sails (the so-called "snow" type). The unit underwent its baptism of fire during the Seven Years' War (1756-1763). In the course of this conflict, it took part in one of the most daring actions of the Royal Navy of the war, the attack on Le Havre, in July 1759. The attack turned out to be extremely fruitful for the British, who thus stopped the creation of the French invasion fleet intended for action against Great Britain. HMS Wolf also successfully served in the US War of Independence (1775-1783). The career of this successful unit ended in 1781, when it was sold and dismantled.
