120A is a series of passenger carriages, commonly known as "bonanza", which were produced in the years 1972-1984 at the Pafawag plant in Wroc³aw. The service weight of a single wagon was 39.5 tons, and its total length was up to 24.5 meters with a width of 2.91 meters. The car provided 80 seats with 170 seats altogether. The 120A wagon was constructed in the early 1970s based on many elements of the EN57 multiple unit. They were used by PKP at the same time and were directed to serve local connections, mainly on non-electrified lines, where the passenger capacity made it uneconomical to use OHP double-decker carriages. 120A wagons are still in service, most often in rolling stock with a SU42 or SU45 locomotive. Some series wagons used by PKP have been adapted to transport bicycles. It is worth adding that a certain number of them were sold to Romania, where 1st and 2nd class wagons appeared.
