The Skoda Roomster is a Czech kombivan passenger car that was first presented to the public in 2006 at the Geneva Motor Show. Its serial production started in the same year and continued until 2015. Production took place in the following cities: Kvasiny and Vrchlabi in the Czech Republic and Soŗomonowo in Ukraine.
The Skoda Roomster was developed and put into production in order to expand the company's offer, without having a direct predecessor in its offer. The car was built on the PQ 34 platform, which was also used in cars such as Skoda Octavia and Audi TT. It was offered only in one body version - as a 5-door kombivan. The model could be powered by a gasoline or diesel engine with a capacity of 1.2 to 1.9 liters. In 2010 and 2013, the Skoda Roomster underwent a minor facelift, which included, for example, the modernization of the front bumper, the use of other headlights, changes on the dashboard or extension of the range of available engines. The Skoda Roomster, after being withdrawn from mass production, did not have a direct successor, as it is difficult to consider the Kodiaq model as such.
