MS Emilia is a Polish commercial ship intended for cabotage, which entered service in 1967. The overall length of the ship was 44.8 m, with the overall width - 8.2 m and a draft of 3 meters. The displacement of the ship was 725 tons and the maximum speed was up to 9 knots. The drive was provided by a single combustion engine with a capacity of 300 HP. The crew was only 8 people. MS Emilia was designed at the Wroc³aw Inland Navigation Design and Research Center, and the Wroc³aw River Shipyard was responsible for its implementation. The twin unit for MS Emilia was MS Flora. From the very beginning, the ship was designed to support Polish, cargo and sea cabotage, i.e. the one that takes place between the ports of the same country and is most often carried out very close to the sea coast. The vessel was characterized by a fairly conservative design, but in the course of operation it turned out to be quite successful, which performed its tasks well.
