Filtering is a technique that consists in applying delicate, translucent layers of different colors to the painted surface in order to liven it up, obtain a chromatic depth and an impression of spatiality. Any color applied with an airbrush may be too dull or produce modest results, while a few filters will give an impression of unprecedented realism, even in the absence of other techniques. Thanks to filters, we can also better fuse the colors of complex camouflages with each other. It is advisable to use filters for low-wear, modern vehicle models and for all those on which we will not try to get the effects of mud, dust and rust.
