Samoloty te trafily na poczatku 2WW do wloskiego lotnictwa wojskowego i niemieckiej Luftwaffe jako samoloty treningowe i komunikacyjne.
The AVIA FL3 (also known as Lombardi FL-3) is an Italian single-engine, double low wing aircraft. The first prototype was flown in 1939. Mass production started in 1939, but was stopped before the war broke out. After its completion, it was continued in the years 1945-1948. During World War II, both in Regio Aeronautica and in the Luftwaffe, the machine served as liaison and communication functions. It was also delivered to Italian aviation clubs. In total, more than 700 copies of this aircraft were built. AVIA used Continental C-85 engines with a capacity of 85 HP and CNA D.4 (60 HP). Further development versions are Meteor FL.53 or Meteor FL.54. Technical data: Maximum speed: 195 km / h, maximum ceiling 6000 m, maximum range: 555 km.
