Jelcz M125M Vecto is a Polish, low-floor city bus, which was presented for the first time in 1998. Its serial production was carried out in the years 1998-2006 and took place in Zak³ady Samochodowe Jelcz. In total, 71 copies of this bus were created in its course.
The M125M Vecto model was created from scratch and was not directly structurally based on the previous vehicles from Jelcz. Compared to buses previously produced by Zak³ady Samochodowe, Jelcz differed primarily in the drive unit, which was the MAN D0826 engine with 220 HP. The walls were also completely new: the front and rear walls were made of plastics with large glazing. The comfort of the driver's work and passengers' travel has also been significantly improved. In 2001, the model with the MAN D0836 engine emits less exhaust gas and with slight changes in the design. Two years later, a model powered by a CNG engine appeared. M125M Vecto buses went to the public transport fleet in cities such as Inowroc³aw, Katowice and Poznañ.
