Aoshima 00411 Avant-garde G50 President (Nissan)

The Nissan President is a Japanese luxury-class passenger car that was first presented to the public in 1965. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 2010, i.e. for 45 years! It was concentrated by the producer in Tochigi, Japan. In the Nissan Motor Company offer it was replaced by the Cima model.

The President was developed and put into production to replace Nissan's Cedric Special, and as Nissan's response to the Toyota Crown. Compared to its predecessor, the comfort of travel has been improved, the steering has been marginally improved and a narrower range of engines with a capacity of 3 to 4.4 liters has been offered. Throughout the series production (1965-2010), the President was Nissan's flagship and most exclusive vehicle, and was primarily targeted at the Japanese and other Asian markets. Sales in other parts of the world (e.g. in the USA) were clearly limited. This model of cars was often chosen as a limousine for corporate directors or political officials.
