The BMW Z3 is a German roadster sports car that was presented to the public in 1994. Its production was carried out in the years 1995-2002. Interestingly, it was the first BMW model produced in series in the United States.
The BMW Z3 model was developed and put into production as a successor to the Z1 model in the company's offer. The main designer of the new car was Joji Nagashima. Compared to its predecessor, it differs significantly in design - especially the front part of the body, it can also be powered by a much wider range of engines, most often with larger displacement. In 1998, the BMW Z3 M Roadster model was created, in which the suspension was improved, cosmetic changes were made to the styling and an engine taken from the BMW M3 was used. A year later, the coupe version appeared, powered by engines with a capacity of 2.9 and 3 liters. The BMW Z3 with a 2.2i engine is able to accelerate to 224 km / h, and its acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is 7.9 seconds.
