The Blohm & Voss BV 141 was a World War II German tactical reconnaissance aircraft. It is remembered as one of the most asymmetrical aircraft to have ever flown. The perspex-glazed crew gondola on the starboard side strongly resembled that found on the Fw 189, and housed the pilot, observer and rear gunner,The tailplane was asymmetrical in the BV 141 V10 prototype. But the aircraft proved very stable and maneuverable. Indeed, Dr. Vogt had calculated that the greater weight on one side of the aircraft could be cancelled out by the torque of the propeller. While actually performing well it never was ordered into full scale production. Contributing factors to that decision were that its preferred engine was in greater demand for the Fock-Wulf 190 fighter.

-Detailed fuselage&wing w/accurate design
The project designated Ha-141i developed by dr in¿. Richard Vogt was about a single engine, but an asymmetrical one. The cabin of the three-person crew was built on the panel on the right side of the actual fuselage, ended with the engine and tail. The design was not accepted, but the company produced a prototype of the Ha-141-O at its own expense. The plane that was flown on February 25, 1938 showed good flight properties, which contributed to the official ordering of 3 prototypes. These included the Ha-141-O, which received the designation Bv-141 V-2 (the company then stopped marking its planes with the Ha - Hamburger Flugzeugbau symbol), when the official prototype, flown in September 1938, was designated Bv-141 V-1. It differed, like the next V-3, in the new shape of the crew cabin. As it turned out, the Bv-141 airplanes behaved quite correctly in flight. The moment resulting from the asymmetry of the thrust was balanced by the influence of the propeller jet on the vertical tail, and the asymmetrical position of the center of masses counteracted the propeller torque. 5 aircraft of the experimental series (A-0) were ordered, which were also given prototype numbers (V-4 to V-8) in parallel and were included in intensive trials, including combat ones. They were generally satisfactory. However, Luftwaffe command was reluctant to do so. As the main formal objection was a small excess of power, the designer proceeded to adapt the aircraft to the more powerful BMW-801 engine (a 14-cylinder double star with a take-off power of 1150 kW). By the way, the airframe was also changed, increasing the wingspan and changing the contour of the airfoil as well as the shape and cross-section of the fuselage. The horizontal tail has changed significantly, it has become asymmetrical, shifted to the left, thanks to which the rear gunner has an unlimited field of fire. The first aircraft of the new variant B-01 was flown in January 1941. Five Bv-141B-0 aircraft were built (numbered 01-05 and parallel V-9 to V-13). There were no further orders due to the fact that the Fw-189 was already equipped. So, the Bv-141 was not put into practice. Technical data (V-10 version): Maximum speed: 438 km / h, maximum ceiling 10000 m, maximum range: 1900 km, armament: fixed - 4 machine guns caliber 7.92 mm, suspended - up to 200 kg of bombs.
