However, it is quite clearly different from the original: first of all, it has a six-wheeled chassis compared to that of the four-wheeled Casspir car. The Buffalo MPCV also has a guided explosive handling arm. It is also characterized by a specially shaped V-shaped bottom of the hull, which increases the chances of the vehicle surviving at the time of detonation of a mine or the so-called fugasa. Buffalo MPCV vehicles are also equipped with a special cover manufactured by BAE Systems, which is to provide protection against older versions of anti-tank grenade launchers, such as the RPG-7. In 2009, the production of the A2 version started, which has, among others: a more powerful engine and a new drive train. Buffalo MPCV vehicles, apart from the US forces, are used by: France, Canada, Pakistan, Italy and Great Britain.
