The Cadillac Eldorado is an American luxury sports car produced by General Motors, which was first presented to the public in 1952. Its serial production started in the same year and lasted until 2002, so the model was produced for exactly 50 years! It took place in several cities in the United States, but the main plants producing this model were in Detroit.
Cadillac Eldorado was designed and put into production in order to expand the company's commercial offer and as one of its flagship and most luxurious cars. The cars, especially in the first generations, were characterized by an incredibly high level of workmanship, travel comfort and a very rich basic equipment. For example, the Eldorado Brougham model from 1957 had heating, air conditioning, radio and air suspension, which at that time was virtually unheard of in cars of other brands. Of course, all this contributed to the very high price of a car unit. In the course of production, of course, the design and almost all components of the car evolved. Cadillac Eldorado also has a large number of power units from 4.6 to even 8 liters. It was also offered in many body versions, such as: 2-door convertible, 2- and 4-door hardtop or 2-door coupe. As many as 10 generations of this car were produced in the course of serial production, the last of which was produced in the years 1992-2002. In the company's offer, the Eldorado model was replaced by the CTS Coupe.
