Trumpeter 02303 Chinese 105mm Type 75 Recoilless Rifle

The Type 75 is the name of the modern Chinese 105mm recoilless rifle. The effective range of anti-tank ammunition from this weapon does not exceed 7500 meters, and its maximum rate of fire, with a well-trained crew, is up to 6 shots per minute.

Design work on the Type 75 gun began in the mid-1970s for the benefit of the Chinese armed forces, and in 1975 the first examples of this weapon entered service. The Type 75 recoilless rifle is primarily used by motorized, mechanized, and airborne infantry units. The main tasks of this weapon include providing short-range anti-tank defense, but also supporting the attack of own infantry with direct fire. Due to the weight of the weapon and the desire to increase its mobility, it is often mounted on off-road vehicles Beijing BJ212 and BJ2020S with all-wheel drive (4x4). Despite the fact that the ability of this weapon to destroy modern tanks is limited, it is still widely used in the PRC army.
