The Vickers E tank (Mark E or Vickers 6-ton) became an export hit to countries where the armaments industry did not produce its tanks. The prototype was built in 1928. It was originally offered to the British Army but rejected it. The tank was built in a twin-turret version as type A and in a single-turret version as type B. For the export version, the turret with the 47 mm gun was moved to the left side (which relieved the driver) and the middle part of the hull was shortened. Countries that purchased the Vickers E could also purchase a license for the tank components that were manufactured at Vickers-Armstrong. Poland managed to obtain such licenses without a special surcharge. The tank was used in the armies of Afghanistan, Bolivia, Estonia, Finland, the USSR, and even Greece, Siam or Japan. On the basis of this design, the Polish 7TP tank and the Soviet T-26 were created. Technical data (version B): length (with a barrel): 4.88m, width: 2.41m, height: 2.16m, engine power: 80-98KM, range: 160km, maximum speed (on the road): 35 km / h, armament: 1 Vickers-Amstrong Mk. E cal. 47 mm, 1 Vickers machine gun cal. 7.7 mm.
