The Dassault Super Mystere was a French jet fighter and fighter-bomber from the Cold War period. The plane's flight took place in 1954, and the machine entered service in 1957. In total, approximately 180 aircraft of this type were built. In the Super Mystere B.2 version, the drive was provided by a single SNECMA Atar 101 G-2 engine with a thrust of 33 kN and 44.1 kN with an afterburner. The on-board armament of the aircraft consisted of two 30mm DEFA 552 cannons. The machine could also carry a load of bombs and rockets with a total weight of up to approx. 2,700 kg.

The Dassault Super Mystere plane was a peculiar culmination of the development of French fighter-bombers started by the Dassault Ouragan plane. The Dassault Super Mystere was in fact quite a far-reaching modification of the Dassault Mystere IV, but with a changed power unit, reinforced hull and slightly changed tail. It is also worth adding that the Dassault Super Mystere is the first supersonic fighter aircraft that entered mass production in Western Europe. The main user of these machines was the French Air Force (French Armee de l'air), which used them primarily as day interceptors. Additionally, Dassault Super Mystere has been operated in Honduras and Israel. He fought for the latter country during the Six Day War (1967) and the Yom Kippur War (1973).
