The Embraer E190 is a mid-range, low-wing, twin-engine Brazilian jet airliner. The drive is provided by two General Electric CF-34-10E turbofan engines. The prototype flight took place in 2004. Serial production started in the same year and continues to this day. By the end of 2012, 451 aircraft of this type had been produced. The Embraer E190 was created as an aircraft that would allow the Brazilian concern to compete with the Bombardier CRJ-1000 and Boeing 717-200 and 737-600 machines in the mid-range passenger aircraft segment. The E190 is based on many components of a slightly smaller Embraer plane - the E170. However, new wings, a new and larger vertical stabilizer and new, more powerful engines were used. The extended-range version of the E190 LR also quickly followed, with the fuselage and wings reinforced. Depending on the configuration, the E190 aircraft can take 98 to 105 passengers on board and have a maximum range of up to 4,260 km in the Long Range version.
