The PMG1 is a Soviet fire engine from the interwar period and World War II. The production of this car started in 1932 at the plants in Moscow. The wagon's length was about 5.4 meters, with a width of about 2 meters. The drive was initially provided by a single 3.3-liter 4-cylinder engine. The maximum speed did not exceed 70 km / h. The PMG1 fire engine was developed as essentially a modification of the GAZ-AA truck. It had the same chassis, engine, and suspension, but received specialized firefighting equipment at the rear, and above all, a water tank with an appropriate pump. The standard crew of the PMG1 car was 8 people, including the driver and the team commander. The car was used by the civilian fire brigade in the USSR in the 1930s and 1940s. During World War II, the PMG1 also became part of the equipment of most of the military airports scattered around the territory of the Soviet Union.
