DISCONTINUED Azur 72034 G.A.L ST-25 Monospar

The General Aircraft Monospar ST-25 was a British light multi-role low wing aircraft from the interwar and World War II periods. The prototype flight took place in 1935. Serial production was carried out in the years 1935-1939. About 60 aircraft of this type were built in its course. The drive was provided by two engines Pobjoy Niagara II, 90 HP each. The length of the aircraft was 8.03 meters with a wingspan of 12.24 meters. The machine did not have a permanent on-board armament. The General Aircraft Monospar ST-25 was developed as a development of the ST-10 from the same manufacturer. The main changes concerned the enlargement of the passenger (transport) compartment, increased glazing of the cabin and the addition of an on-board radio. The machine was characterized by a metal structure. Several development versions were created in the course of production, including: ST-25 De Luxe (version with other engines), ST-25 Ambulance (sanitary version) and ST-25 Freighter (transport version). It is worth adding that many aircraft of this type took part in World War II as RAF planes.
