Choroszy Modelbud A64 Hansa Brandenburg CC flying boat

The Hansa-Brandenburg CC was a German biplane fighter boat from the First World War. A prototype flight took place in 1916, and the machine entered production in the same year. About 70 aircraft of this type were built in its course. The drive was provided by a single motor: Benz Bz.III o 150 HP, Austro-Daimler with 135 HP or Hiero with 147 HP. The length of the aircraft was 7.69 meters with a wingspan of 9.3 meters. The deck armament usually consisted of 1-2 7.92 mm machine guns.

The Hansa-Brandenburg CC aircraft was developed by the later famous aircraft constructor Ernest Heinkel, primarily for use by the German and Austro-Hungarian navy. The machine was characterized by the use of a pushing propeller and an unusual connection of the blades (the so-called Star-Strutter). The planes serving in Germany and Austria-Hungary were structurally almost identical, but differed in the power units used. It is worth adding that the Hansa-Brandenburg CC machines enjoyed much greater popularity in the Danube monarchy and were intensively used for the air cover of bases on the Adriatic Sea and for maritime patrols in this area.
