Hohenzollern Tramlok is the name of a German tram locomotive from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The total length of the locomotive was 6.08 m and a width of 2.2 m. The curb weight was 11 tons, with a service weight of 13.7 tons (without brake and capacitor). The diameter of the steam locomotive's wheels was 850 mm, and its engine power was 80 HP. Hohenzollern Tramlok was developed by the company Hohenzollern AG Lokomotivbau based in Dusseldorf for the needs of tram transport in Upper Silesia connecting cities such as Piekary ¦l±skie, Zabrze or Bytom. The order was for 30 locomotives specially adapted to urban traffic, characterized by small size and compact structure. The first locomotives of this type were put into service at the turn of 1894 and 1895, but already in 1898 they were withdrawn from use due to the electrification of the line. Finally, they were withdrawn from use in 1904.
