The Honda Accord is a Japanese compact and later middle class passenger car that was first presented to the public in 1975. Its serial production started a year later and is still going on! So far, ten generations of this model have been created. In the course of long serial production, the model was manufactured in many cities around the world, including: Sayama in Japan, Marysville in the USA or Guangzhou in the PRC.

The Accord model was developed and put into production in order to complement the Civic model in the Honda Motor Company offer. The first generation of the Accord model was based on many Civic components - for example, it used the same floor plate. Initially, the model was positioned as a compact car, which in the 1970s gained considerable popularity in Japan due to the quality of workmanship, economical engines and spacious interior. The initial success prompted the management of Honda to launch the next generations of this model for sale. In the years 1990-1993, the fourth generation of the model repositioned the Hodny Accord - from a compact car to a middle class car. This meant introducing slightly richer basic and additional equipment and a slight styling change - especially in the front part of the car. It is worth adding that in 2015 the Honda concern finished the production of the Accord version dedicated especially to the European market.
