IBEEV 3 is a modern Kazakh evacuation ship of Polish production. The launch of the vessel took place in 2006. The overall length of the vessel is 45.1 meters and the width is 8 meters. Full displacement reaches approx. 400 tons. The unit is driven by diesel and electric power. IBEEV 3 was commissioned by Kazakhstan at the Gdañsk Repair Shipyard, and the main designer of the vessel was Marcin Korniluk. The unit is an evacuation unit that is used to evacuate the oil rig service in the event of its failure, damage or other related problems. IBEEV 3 serves in the northern Caspian Sea in the Kashagan Oil Field. It is worth adding that this is an oil field with a reservoir of as much as 13 billion barrels of oil! The IBEEV 3 unit has been made using the latest technology - both in terms of design and production of the unit. It is able to transport up to approx. 340 people, of which 10 are on a stretcher. Moreover, IBEEV 3 can move in a flooded area when the ice thickness does not exceed 60 centimeters.
