2 cm Flak 30 cannon (full name: 2 cm Fliegerabwehrkanone 30 ) is a German, automatic anti-aircraft gun from the Second World War, which was produced from the mid-1930s by Rheinmetall-Borsig. From 1940, it was replaced by its greatly modernized version, designated as the 2 cm FlaK 38, which was characterized by a higher theoretical rate of fire and much better reliability. Both of these cannons were fed from box magazines holding 20 rounds each. The cannons fired 20 x 139 mm compound cartridges. Various types of missiles were used in the cannons, among which the following can be indicated: Sprenggranatpatrone mit Zerleger weighing 115-120 grams, Brandsprenggranatpatrone L'spur mit Zerleger weighing 120 g or Panzergranatpatrone mit Zerleger weighing 146 grams. It is worth adding that the initial velocity of the shells fired from the FlaK 30/38 cannons was from 830 to 900 m / s.
