The Martin-Baker Mk.11 is a modern British ejection seat (another term: ejection seat) dedicated primarily to light aircraft. The official website of the manufacturer states that currently (2019) there are over 700 seats of this type in service. It is assumed that in order for the chair to work effectively, the weight of the pilot must be between 60 and 127 kilograms. The Martin-Baker Mk.11 catapult chair was developed while retaining many of the features of the armchair, such as the Mk.9 or Mk.10, but the construction was aimed at reducing its size and weight. At the same time, it was designed in such a way as to enable its installation in various types of aircraft. The Martin-Baker Mk.11 armchair was and is installed on such aircraft as: PZL L-130, Pilatus PC-7 and PC-9.
