Master AM-48-126 Mi-24 (Hind D/E) - JakB-12.7 machine gun barrel and DUAS probe (metal and resin parts)

The YakB-12.7 is a Soviet, and currently Russian, 12.7 mm large-caliber, four-barrel machine gun from the Cold War and modern times. Bron entered service in 1977 and remains in service today. Its total weight is approximately 45 kilograms, and the total length of this rifle is 1,345 meters. The JakB-12.7 machine gun has a theoretical rate of fire of 4,000 rounds per minute, and the initial velocity of the bullet is around 800 m / s. The Jakb-12.7 machine gun was created by PG Jakuszew and BA Borzów for the needs of the Soviet air force and army aviation, as a successor to the A-12.7 rifle of the same caliber. Compared to its predecessor, the new rifle increased its weight and dimensions, but most of all, its rate of fire was radically improved, while maintaining a very similar initial velocity of the projectile. It was and is still used as an on-board armament for the Mi-24D and Mi-24W helicopters. Being mounted on a GUW nacelle, it can also be carried by a Ka-29TB helicopter.
