Europa II is a type of pushed barge of a Polish design from the post-war period. This type of barges were built primarily in the 1980s. The total length of the barge is 76.5 m, with a total width of 11.6 m and a lateral height of 4 meters. The design draft was estimated at 3.95 meters. The presented barge was designed (as project number 510-S) by a company called Przedsiêbiorstwo Projektowo-Us³ugowe NAVICENTRUM Sp. z o. o., which has existed under various other names since 1952, with its headquarters in Wroc³aw. The company's portfolio includes many successful ship projects, both river and sea, but you may risk saying that the most experience gained is precisely in the design of inland vessels. Using this experience, NAVICENTRUM has developed a project of the presented pushed barge intended for river navigation, mainly in the area of European rivers. As a curiosity, it can be mentioned that the unit price of the presented barge is currently from approx. 265 thousand. up to approx. 340 thousand euro.
