The GAZ-2975 Tigr armored all-terrain vehicle was developed in the late 1990s, and the first copies were presented to the public in 2005. Serial production started in 2005 and ended two years later - in 2007 at the Arzamska Fabryka Maszyn. The basic version of the GAZ-2975 is powered by a single 6-cylinder Cummins B-205 engine with 205 HP turbocharger. It also has all-wheel drive (4x4). The GAZ-2975 Tigr armored all-terrain vehicle is capable of carrying 1,500 kg. cargo or a crew of 4 in its rear part. In the version dedicated to the police and the army, it can carry up to 9 soldiers or 1,200 kg of cargo. It is worth noting that both of these versions do not have primary weapons. The body of the GAZ-2975 Tigr is entirely made of metal, and the versions dedicated to uniformed services have armor made of steel with a thickness of 5 to 7 mm. The unit price of the civil version - depending on the version - varies from 100,000. up to 120 thousand dollars.
