Trumpeter 05594 Russian GAZ 39371

The GAZ-3937 Aquarius is a modern Russian multipurpose transport vehicle. The first prototypes were probably created in the late 1990s, and the presentation of the vehicle took place in 2007. The drive is provided by a single motor diesel engine GAZ-5621 about 175 hp. The vehicle is armed with two machine guns: KPVT caliber 14.5 mm and KPT caliber 7.62 mm.

The GAZ-3937 Wodnik car was created as a private initiative of the Arzam Machine Factory and is a far-reaching modification of the GAZ-2330 car. Compared to the original, it differs in the shape of the hull, power unit and the placement of the main armament in a small turret. Aquarius also has - as the name suggests - amphibious capabilities and is a floating vehicle. The basic version of the car is the one designated as GAZ-3937, which has a relatively short driver's cabin and two seats in it for the driver and passenger. The development is the GAZ-39371, which has an elongated front part of the fuselage, and the driver's cabin accommodates three people: the driver and two passengers. Currently, vehicles of this type are used by Uruguay and Syria and are most likely involved in the conflict in eastern Ukraine that began in 2014.
