The PL-37 is a Soviet artillery armored car from the Second World War. Design work on it began in the second half of the 1930s, but the rail vehicle on display entered production in 1939. About 25 copies of it were created in its course. The length of a single wagon was about 14.6 meters, with a width of 3 meters. The total height was about 4.4 meters. The basic armament consisted of two 76.2 mm 1902/30 guns, and the additional one - 5-6 7.62 mm machine guns. The PL-37 wagon was developed as a light artillery wagon intended for the railway forces under the Red Army. The concept of its use assumed close cooperation with one's own infantry units, and even with light armored vehicles. The presented wagon was to provide fire support to its own infantry - whether in offensive or in defense. It is worth adding that its production was most likely carried out only in 1939-1941. It is also certain that wagons of this type took part in the initial phase of the German-Soviet war in 1941-1945. It should also be added that the PL-37 was not a self-propelled wagon.
