The Yamaha TMAX (also known as T-MAX or XP500) is a Japanese maxi-scooter that was first introduced to the public in 2001. Its serial production started at the same time and continues. It was concentrated in the cities of Iwata in Japan and Naples in Italy.

The TMAX model has been designed and implemented for production in order to complement the commercial offer of Yamaha Motor Corporation and to win the largest possible share of the city scooter market in Western Europe. The company decided to use its vast experience gained in the production of motorcycles and create a forged with the best possible performance. The idea was largely successful, as initially the TMAX was powered by a 500cc 43hp engine, and since 2012 - with a capacity of 530cc, the largest and most powerful engine in its segment. In addition, the Yamaha TMAX has a relatively rich basic and optional equipment, as well as an attractive design. It is also known for its rather low failure rate. The quality of the construction can be proved by the numerous awards won by this model both in Japan and in Europe. On the Polish market, the price of the new Yamaha TMAX scooter starts from PLN 48,900.
