Zalewski WZ.XI Kogutek was a Polish, amateur sports plane in the dorsal wing configuration from the interwar period. The plane's flight took place in 1927. The drive was provided by a single WZ-18 engine designed by W³adys³aw Zalewski with a maximum power of 18 HP. The plane was 5 meters long with a wingspan of 7.8 meters. The machine's own weight was only 115 kilograms!

The WZ.XI Kogutek plane was the work of the Polish aviation constructor and engineer W³adys³aw Zalewski. The constructor decided to focus on the smallest possible weight of the plane, short take-off and landing paths, at the expense of the maximum speed. What's more, he used an engine of his own design in the machine. This last element made the WZ.XI Kogutek the first Polish plane, powered by an engine of Polish construction and construction from the interwar period! The machine was very stable and was easy to pilot. The machine took part in aviation competitions and tourist flights in 1928-1934. In 1934, the WZ.XI Kogutek was transferred to the Museum of Technology and Industry in Warsaw.
